Movie reminder.

I exposed my kids to Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure today. They rated it most excellent. They thought it was great.

I watched this not too long ago, in the two-movie-and-bonus-features boxed set.

The really fascinating thing was the making-of interview with the writers.

Basically, Bill and Ted were characters they created doing improv. The started doing sketches with them, and liked the characters, and got to where they would even go out in public and stay in character, and finally developed the characters enough to write the movie around them.

The full story is fascinating stuff; how they developed -- for example, there was originally a third guy.
